Thomas and Anthony, you have walked, you have seen, you have shared part of your stories along the way from Maryland to Canada. They are now linked with many stories of departed freedom seekers. They are linked with peace builders. We prayed so You could walk. You spoke so others can stand. May our collective voices be heard taking one step in front of the other.
Sandra, I like how you shine the light on the linked network that ripples out from the actions of the freedom seekers. I'm really feeling that network right now. I think this walk has strengthened and renewed it.

Belvie, I can't tell you how much your words mean to me. I think of Dedan and you often with such gratitude for our connection in this lifetime. It helps that I still have Dedan's poetry book on my nightstand. I've committed to not finish it anytime soon, but to savor it one poem at a time. Tonight will be one of those nights... my blessings and love to you always... heart to heart...
