The sun shall rise in a few hours. May this new day welcome your testimonies as you keep on keeping on with every step on the ground.

Prayers continue to cover you

Good morning Anthony & Thomas.

May Psalm 61:1-5 be a centering prayer this morning. I cannot upload a picture I took of some of The Arches at Canyonlands a few weeks ago. If you can google, let the reading of Psalm 61:1-5 accompany the images. May God’s creation be your strength

Your prayer requests for good health and safety are being lifted up.

Keep on walking.

Good morning Walkers. Here is a morning prayer for this week. It is by Rev. Steve Garnaas-Holmes. May it nourish your spirits:

"The voice of freedom or justice,

the song of beauty or healing,

the call of the Beloved, is not a shout.

It's merely the hum of life

that begs your harmony.

You're going about your life, plain as always,

when something ineffable, moving

in a different direction, tugs at you,

like the aroma of bread baking:

an urge, a subtle leaning, an invitation.

Your presence is requested.

Learn to stop and attend.

Perhaps in a moment of stillness,

maybe in a rush of trying so hard—

a compass needle wobbles.

Stop and attend.

You are not especially wise or gifted;

your faith is no stronger than anyone else's.

Don't question why you are chosen;

the only way to know is to follow.

It may be a life-changing endeavor,

or a moment's simple act of love. Follow.

Never stop listening.

Deep Blessings,

Pastor Steve"

Thank you for this, Sandra. I received it 10 minutes prior to us having a team meeting this morning and I asked for a minute at the beginning to read this allowed for all of us to take in. This blessing was much appreciated by all. Thank you.

I am glad it arrived on time for all to be nourished by the words. We serve an on-time God. Blessings on your day. What can we hold in prayers with you?

Thank you for taking us with you to the Mother "Freedom Church." The atmosphere inside that space was so joyous and welcoming. And I will always remember the Freedom Walk Singers performing "Breaths" — oh my goodness! The soundtrack of this journey just keeps getting more and more inspiring.

I'm so glad you're being moved by the music as powerfully as I am. I'll continue posting videos of music as I receive permission to do so. "Breaths" was so amazing. It felt like my own breath was being moved by their singing. Thanks for following along!

Sorry I didn't get to show you/tell you about the building we landmarked; 339 West 29th st, between 8th and 9th avenues, the Underground Railroad site; home of Isaac Hopper's daughter, Abby Hopper Gibson and her husband James Gibson. Isaac spent his last years here.Both Abby and James were abolitionists, and a runaway slave stayed there once. Documented in a book about Joseph Hodges Choate. There is an historic plaque in front of the house. Happy walking, and resting. Julie
